- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been trained at the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). I am an Illinois State Licensed Home Inspector with a license number 450.011008. I have completed apprentice training in carpentry and electrical. I have also worked at Portland Cement Association where I was trained and tested to comply with American Standards of Testing Materials (ASTM) in steel rebar bending and placing, concrete placement and testing, concrete finishing, structural testing of concrete walls and field instrumentation for concrete performance analysis.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I bring over 35 years of hands on construction experience in the many disciplines. I have held positions of apprentice, journeyman, foreman, superintendent, project manager, estimator, division manager, operations manager and have been a consultant to several contractors. I wanted to bring my experience to help people that are looking to evaluate their properties in order to understand its condition at the time of the inspection.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with novice home buyers, experienced developers, realtors, general contractors, owners and property managers.
