- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
After an initial consultation and agreement to move forward, Design Department will provide a project estimate based on our mutual understanding of your creative goals. Within our satellite agency model, networked teams are assembled to meet the exact demands of your assignment, including project scope, creative objectives, budget, schedule and deliverables. We use a Small/Medium/Large framework to scope estimates which we provide for client review prior to starting. Range examples. Small: $500-$15K 1-3 creative professionals -- Medium: $15K-$30K 1-6 creative professionals -- Large: $30K+ 6-12 person creative team. Rush assignments require an upcharge - pricing is negotiated on a case-by-case basis. Fee discounts are available for retainer clients.

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Frank Marte, Creative Director and founding partner of Design Department has a BFA in Visual Communication from Northern Illinois University, one of the leading design school programs in the U.S. In addition, he was an instructor for 10+ years at the Chicago Portfolio School, helping define the curriculum and the develop the school's brand.
