- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
There are three times I typically meet with my families! First, the photo session itself. Lots of fun! Revealing your images is done in your home or a neutral location. I come back for the third time with the goodies you have ordered! This includes any wall art, which I install for you!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I used to be a special education instructional assistant, then I taught high school math. The experience I gained in the classroom has served me well when connecting with my subjects of all ages. I am an active ClickinMoms member and I am continually learning within my photography community in San Diego.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a shutter bug in high school. I documented everything! I carried my pager and my film point n shoot camera and spent all my money on film and developing. After a brief teaching career I started a family and went back to documenting my favorite subject--my kids. I quickly started educating myself in hopes to capture the beauty of my family. It quickly thrived and I found myself doing what I absolutely love...showing families how good they really have it!
