Avoid this contractor at all cost!! Ron does not honor the contracts that he strikes up. I hired him to re do my concrete driveway due to the fact that the grade was wrong and you could not drive a standard car, truck or SUV into the drive without the vehicle scrapping. We struck up a contract and one of the terms included into the contract stated that he would regrade the drive so that my car does not scrape.
Ron was poor at communicating from the start. He did not show up the first day he said he would and failed to notify me at all. I had to contact him to find out why he didn't show up when I got home from work that evening. Eventually the work was completed. However the work was not completed to the terms established in the contract. When I tried to pull my car into the driveway it scraped. I notified Ron because he stated that if my car scraped he would take care of it. He has not taken care of it. He said he would come check it out and he has not done so. I have given him a month to attempt to make it right and he still hasn't. He hasn't called me back or responded to any of my text in over two weeks.
Ronnell D Whatley is not a man of his word. Do not trust this contractor do not use this contractor. I will be pursing legal actions against him. Save yourself the stress, use another contractor.

If I could give zero starts I would. Avoid this contractor. Hired Ron to repair a retaining wall, his price was great and he seemed professional. He said he pride himself in customer service and if he wasn't on site, he will definitely make sure to send someone. I know he had some personal issues, which I know it happens so I understood - but I just wanted him to communicate with us as to what would be the next steps, but he completely avoided our calls and messages, took most of the money and left a mess of a wall. My tenants can't park and it has been like that for almost a month now. It has been extremely stressful to try to get in touch with him and deal w my tenants as they are very unhappy about the whole mess he just left us with. I will be suing this contractor and reporting him to the business bureau. AVOID AT ALL COST. His price is ok, but not at all worth the stress and the unprofessionalism overall. See how my parking lot looks like now, I think it's fair to say the job is not done and left worse than it started.
