Maggie is simply fabulous. She knows her flowers and knows which flowers will paint the perfect vision you have for your wedding. I shopped around to 4 well know flower shops in Houston, TX and I just did not feel like they really understood what I wanted. They just wanted to make a sale using the same boring flowers you see at everyone's wedding. The moment I sat down with Maggie and told her about me and my vision, she got it. She knew exactly which flowers would make my special day come together and let me tell you, she did AMAZING. People are still talking about how beautiful my flowers were at my wedding. You need Maggie in your life! She will take all the stress away and give you the exact vision you had for your wedding!

Working with Maggie was one of my favorite parts of planning my wedding. My now-husband and I decided we wanted to create our own centerpieces, so my primary need was wedding party florals. I first noticed Maggie's work when a bouquet she created was shared on Facebook- it was featured on David Tutera's blog! It was a stunning creation. I knew her sister from school and she put me in contact with Maggie. We spoke over the phone for about an hour, and I was amazed by her knowledge and professionalism. She was incredibly patient, too. I had been a little indecisive if I wanted orchids or picasso lillies. After our phone consultation, she sent me two quotes to show price difference of each and the florals that best complemented each flower. We picked our preferred arrangements and that was that! She made the whole process easy and low-stress, very important for a bride! I felt like she really heard what I wanted and that I was in great hands. I will sing Maggie's praises for years to come.

Maggie was a joy to work with from start to finish. She went out of her way to meet us and get to know us as a couple (despite knowing our individual personalities already). This made all the difference. My wife and I are polar opposites and finding common ground for wedding choices was nearly impossible. Maggie's floral knowledge made agreement a non-issue. She mixed traditional blooms with exotic varieties, some of which our wedding guests noted they had never seen before. Our day of the dead themed wedding was pulled together with unique bright and dark contrasted flowers and foliage, expertly arranged and in beautiful vases. Everyone in our wedding party (men and women) saved their corsages and boutonnieres because they were so gorgeous! The product knowledge and quality Maggie possesses is merely one element of her talent. She has a kind, bubbly personality that makes opening up to her a breeze. She truly makes her services about you, no matter how unorthodox (and off-season) your wants are. Maggie makes you feel like a valued client and friend from beginning to end. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am a home based business so my prices are competitive compared to a traditional Floral shop. I do not have the overhead of a studio, show room, design team, and grand marketing expenses that get passed onto the customer. I offer military discounts to our service men and women. There are delivery, setup, and tear down fees in addition to the floral product. Currently to help keep prices low, I accept cash and check only. 25% of the total quote secures your wedding date. Total quote should be paid in full 3 weeks before the wedding date.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If we seem to be a good fit, I request an in-person or phone consultation to get to know the bride and understand her vision for her special day more detail. Prior to the meeting I ask the Bride to fill out a questionnaire and share inspiration photos so our time together is productive.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the business for over ten years now. I have trained in all aspects of floristry. However, in the last several years weddings and events have been my focus.
