- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Event makeup: $45 if client travels to me, $55 if I travel to client. ( Within 25 miles) Prom, mother if the bride, bridesmaid, photo shoots etc. Classes in my home studio: $35 per 45 minute class, $95 for 3 classes, $149 for 5 classes. Bridal: $75 for wedding day, I travel to your location. Trial makeup$75, $55 if we sign a contract. All prices include false lashes application.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually meet the client for a consultation. We talk about the specific look she wants, what kind of event it is, pricing & policies. Just a casual meet & greet:) We usually sign a contract or set up a trial appointment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have always been a makeup artist! :) Even as a child, my favorite play time was doing my friends makeup! I started working for Clinque as a counter manager at a Saks Fifth ave, then moved on to a makeup artist position at a medical spa in San Diego, then finally I was hired as a freelance m.u.a fo MAC and was quickly promoted to assistant manager.
