FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every property is different. That does not mean a different hourly rate, it just means that what a potential client sees may be very different from what a trained eye sees. Quotes are also based off of client budget. A low budget for a large job might denote a quicker process with less accuracy as opposed to an in-depth process with greater accuracy. It all depends on the client's goals, and we are here to assist you in reaching those goals.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Responding to their voicemail or email as soon as possible. I listen to him/her tell me what their problem is. If my services are in line with their needs, or even in same ballpark, I will absolutely set up an in-person appt. We set a date/time, I arrive and I do a Site Analysis ( notes, pics, questions, client ideas etc ). I take the info with me back to office, go through notes, research best plants for specific sites, make calls, come up with a quote. I then make phone call, email or text the quote, depending on how client wants to receive it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently attending college, working on a degree in horticulture/landscape design. Straight A's and 1 B so far! I attend industry expos when possible, study my notes/pics from previous classes and listen to a ton of audio books regarding business, entrepreneurship, customer relations etc.
