FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing has been the hardest part of my job. I want to always be fair, honest and willing to help others regardless of pay. I currently use a day rate and an hourly rate. I only charge for materials and my labor. No hidden fees or added fees. Its again been a joy to work with the community. I have had customers actually pay me more than what I had estimated on labor because they thought I under charged them. Again, amazing community.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost, I want to meet with the customer, tell them a little about what we do and provide. We also physically want to see the project that needs completed. Depending on the job I may provide an estimate at that time or we may need to do some material cost first. Finances are important. We don't want to turn down helping others bacause of money. Afterword, I make sure I stay in contact with my customer. My hope is that we are able to continue to do more work in the future so it is very important that we put our best in every project. Not just work effort but in financing and all other areas. All of my previous customers are in my phone so that if they ever have any further needs I am able to be available for them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My experience came from willingness to work, listen and learn. I have always been very teachable and soak in all I can. If I don't know how to fix something, I call people, use the Internet, or whatever else I can to get the information I need.
