When we met Mugs from Trim Pro he seemed like he was a professional and would deliver a quality job even though he did not have any reviews we decided to give him a chance.
I signed his proposal on 3/12 and sent him a check for 50% as he requested.
I went online and verified from the supplier that he had upcharged me an additional $1,400 over his cost of the supplies.
He informed us that he would begin our job on 4/07 then delayed saying that the supplies had not arrived. Date was changed to 4/12 then
4/17. Each time I tried to call him or email him he would either not return my call or finally email me back days later making addtional excuses as to why he could not start my job.
This continued into May and after I demanded that he awt a start date then he tries to cancel the contract stating that he would drop off the supplies and we could find someone else to do the job.
Informed him that no he would have to complete the job as agreed or he would be in breach of contract.
He also had me send him an additional check for the supplies.
Long story short after three months of dealing with his inmature and unprofessional attitude he gave me a start date of 6/07. On 6/06 I received an email from him saying he would not be able to start untill 6/08. I asked him what time he would be at my home and he said between 7-8. The next day he arrived at 10. He demoed the old railing and then left. I was under the impression that he was here to start installing. Again he said he'd be at my house the next day 7-8 and arrived at 10:45. The third day said the same be there 7-8 and arrived at 11:30.
His workmanship was ametuture at best with scratches and chips on my railing and posts. The posts were set crooked, and he left three bugs holes in the drywall where heremoves the old posts and left without patching the wall.
I was wondering xpecting him to allow me to inspect his workmanship before he left so he could take care of any concerns that I had. He immediately left very quickly after he received my check.
This was my mistake as after I was able to inspect the workmanship I was appalled at all of the issues.
I could not believe that he drove to a bank to deposit my check imediaetly after leaving my house as it was Sunday evening. It's to late for me but I hope that anyone else that is considering hiring Trim Pro of Colorado think twice and run.
I am also appalled that Thumbtack would allow a contractor of his quality on their site. I did reach out to Thumbtack during my issues with this and they we're off not assistance.

Mugs with Trim Pro is true professional. We had a small trim job and mugs came by and in one trip in about 1 hour had our cabinet trim up and beautiful!! We may find other jobs around the house just to have mugs back over. Hire them!!!

Mugs from Trim Pro was very professional and did a great job building our gazebo. He accomplished the work in the time he said he would and was reasonably priced. He went above and beyond, making sure our gazebo was secured to the ground and level. It looks fabulous, and I am planning to hire him for additional jobs.
