Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I offer one-on-one personal nutrition counseling with my clients. I know that each person is unique and will not fit into the "one diet plan fits all" style. Years ago I realized how poor my nutrition and lifestyle choices were, so I decided to make a change and start eating healthier and being more active. I achieved my own personal fitness and nutrition goals which started my passion and led me to pursue a career in nutrition and dietetics. I now enjoy helping others achieve the same success I did to help better their lives. I have two bachelor's degrees in nutrition and dietetics, completed a dietetic internship, and have worked as a clinical dietitian. Although I am new to Thumbtack, I have worked as a freelance nutritionist since 2015.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

For weight loss/healthy eating nutrition counseling: For the initial interview and personalized nutrition plan, I charge a base pay of $100. For the weekly accountability and adjustment meetings, I charge $40 for a 30 minute session. For a bundle one-month plan, the total is $200 which includes the assessment, personalized nutrition plan, and 3 weeks of follow-ups. If you just need to speak with a nutritionist or are interested in nutrition education for specific diseases or conditions, the charge is $50 per 30 minute session. **All payments will be billed via e-mail through PayPal. Payments must be made prior to initial meetings.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

To help you achieve your goals, we can set up an initial in person meeting, Skype meeting, or phone call that will last about 30 minutes for me to better understand your goals and gather information needed for your personalized nutrition plan. I would then set up a second meeting 3-5 days later that will also last about 30 minutes to discuss the individualized plan and goals we have agreed upon together. From then on, I like to talk with my clients on a weekly basis for accountability and possible adjustments to the goals; however, this is up to you.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have two bachelor's degrees in Nutrition and Dietetics. I have experience working as a freelance nutritionist and clinical dietitian for hospitals.
