FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is according to the needs of the guest. I use local & organic beef, chicken and produce whenever possible. It does cost more than the mass produced stuff but the taste and quality of what we can get here in Ohio is hands down some of the best in the nation.Over the 20 years of cooking, I have developed relationships with farmers, specialty producers, and vendors that offer me pricing that others can not match. I do not gouge my clients and maintain fair and competitive prices.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know a little about the the client first. Things lie favorite album, book movie, and vacation spot give me insight to their individuality. I want to know if there is any theme or who the guest/s of honor is. This all can be done in a way that is most convenient to the client because we all have busy schedules. I am here to make ius less hectic
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up with and around great food. I started very young with my mother as she took me to cooking classes that she taught at La Belle Pomme in the old Lazurus Downtown. She also owned a Baskin and Robbins Ice Cream store in Upper Arlington that I spent every being the pesky rug rat who ate too much ice cream. I started cooking professionally at the age of 15 at wholesale bakery in the Clintonville area. I made the desserts for several restaurants around town including Lindey's. I worked for the 55 Group of Restaurants throughout high school and then attended Columbus State for Culinary Arts. I apprenticed with the Cameron Mitchell at his restaurant in Bexley. I then left Columbus for Cape Cod, MA where I spent 8 years cooking with what I love most, seafood. After moving back to Cbus, I transitioned to the Front of the House where I waited tables for Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse and Lindey's. Rounding out my catering skills, I was promoted to the Director of Catering and Events at Lindey's.
