FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to respond quickly, preferably within an hour. We'll try to give you a ballpark figure up front, we understand its nice to have an idea of what you are getting into, and you don't want people coming out to give you a sales pitch and try to talk you into more than you are willing to pay. We'll give a free estimate on site, to account for factors thatmight change how we price your job, or what you actually need done. Our customers have frequently been surprised when we tell them they need less service, and can skip things they might not need, or a cheaper alternative we can offer. It costs us money sometimes, but we believe operating in good faith works better for everyone in the long run.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Extensively read and experienced in providing the services in our line up, much of which are "old school" or even artisanal. Properly scything down overgrown lawns or fields and brush is half an art form, using and rediscovering techniques and natural practices all but forgotten. Many of these things are quicker than what can be accomplished with power tools. Our staff actually has a variety of degrees in different fields, but our best education comes from solving real world problems for our customers.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We recognized that there was a need for quality service with a reasonable price, most people seem to have to choose between the two. We thought we could show people that by putting in a little more physical effort, we could save on fuel costs, pollution, and expensive machinery and setups and pass on the savings to our customers.
