Wow! Handyman Steve was truly a godsend. I had a long list of things that I desperately needed fixed around my house and he methodically went through each task with ease! I had a broken ceiling fan that two other handymen had previously told me was unfixable... Steve fixed it within minutes! He was professional, knowledgable, and friendly! Steve had to rip out an old dry rotted, 36 inch, 12 steps, outdoor stair case, and replace it with a code approved version, including a third stringer, appropriate railings and hand rail. He bid the project fairly with detailed accounting of labor and materials (shared receipts and his schedule), arrived on time prepared and ready as promised, communicated clearly and quickly on each phase of the project, respected/worked with my concerns and feedback, and completed a beautiful staircase that even the inspector admired for exact cuts and sturdy, safe, attractive construction! Steve is a young man of integrity, intelligence, professionalism, and skill, a joy to hire with a well-earned five star rating!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally, first step is to come by and look at the job so that I can give an accurate estimate. We agree on either a fixed price or an hourly rate, depending on the job, and then set a date and get to it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. I've also helped my dad (a Ph.D in electrical engineering) with every home improvement project he's tackled.
