Introduction: I perform a thorough consultation prior to the event to make sure I have an understanding of event flow, desired genres, and favorite musical artists. Working with this information, I provide seamless mixing of music with the ability to improvise requests, announcements, etc. without breaking the vibe of the party. I also know how to work with other vendors well. I will make sure that our efforts are coordinated so no special moment goes unrecorded/captured. Additionally, I provide audio recording of any special announcements (including segments of the mix) to have as a memory/keepsake. I just really enjoy playing music that makes people dance. Nothing gets me more excited than the peak of the party, when the dance floor is packed and I can bring in the big hits that keep everyone dancing and singing along.

Dj 2Degrees was the MC and DJ at my wedding in 2012. He was excellent and played all of the music that we loved. He also gave us great advice about music selection prior to us creating a playlist. He really made our wedding a memorable day!

DJ 2DEGREES DJ'd our wedding and did an amazing job! He was very prompt in responding to emails and phone calls and spent time going over the details of the wedding/reception to ensure we had seamless transitions from ceremony through cocktail hour and reception. He provided wireless audio for the wedding as well so everyone was able to hear our vows without the awkward microphone in between us. He kept the dance floor full till the very end. I would highly recommend him for your next event!

DJ 2DEGREES was the DJ at my wedding and he was amazing. It was a great mix of songs we wanted to hear and him taking the lead to change the mood of the party to keep people engaged. He is talented, professional, and might be one of the nicer people I have ever met. I would recommend him for any party or event. Also on a day where I had a million things to do, he took charged where I needed. He hooked up all the audio for the ceremony, lead all the announcements during the reception and was quick to respond to my insanity. Again I could not recommend him enough.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each engagement is priced on an individual basis, after I have an understanding of what is needed to get the job done. I do set a floor of $500 for a gig, given my level of experience and the value of the time that I put into every event.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with the decision makers to get an understanding of the type of music desired for the event, any restrictions (a do not play list), and provide some insights from my previous experience working events.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Just years of practice at all types of venues.
