FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Over the years, I have heard both "my goodness, that's outrageous!" and "really, that's all?". I suppose it's all just perspective. I am certain I am not the cheapest, likewise, I am certain I'm not the most expensive designer you'll find. What you can count on is that I won't be happy unless you are. I have a relentless focus on proper design. I have been hesitant to try a platform like this because of all the silly sites out there that are harming the value of our industry. A friend convinced me to give it a shot.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer electronic and digital communication so that we can be certain to capture each and every detail including the expectations for scope, price, delivery, and allowable revisions. If we are a good communication fit for one another, then we'll do great. If we can tell right off the bat, that we don't fit, there are no hard feelings at all.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor degree of Visual Communication Design from the Art Institute of Los Angeles. While I met some good people and enjoyed myself, I truly believe that degrees are all but worthless at this point in the world. I know designers with no degree who run circles around well-degreed grads, and I know tremendous designers who are self-taught. My greatest contributing experience that makes me a good fit for what you're out to create is that I've spent some of my life traveling abroad and I take inspiration from all sorts of impactful things.
