FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do have a typical pricing system for fences, retaining walls and other hardscape items. However, a spread sheet for landscape estimates is used because of the various prices and sizes for different plant material, types of soil prep and different mulches. Other criteria are plant spacing's, grade of plants and where plants are purchased, ie, local wholesalers or direct from growers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process for working with clients is to start out with an onsite visit. Then we need the following: 1. A site survey, which is provided in the legal paper work when purchasing the property. 2. Identify the scope of the project. 3. Conduct a site analysis to identify beds, trees, slopes, drainage, hardscape and water meter and water pressure (for an irrigation system). 4. Establish a budget. 5. Create a design and estimate for a second visit or email proposal, if time is a constraint. 6. Then secure the project with a 20% deposit at signing and a 30% deposit upon arrival. With the remaining upon completion. 7. Determine a start date and potential time of completion.
