m very happy with John, his services, strategy's, and legal consul.
John handled my case better than I could have ever expected.
I will recommend him to anyone seeking consul. John never inflated my expectations in the divorce process, he is honest and upfront with every possibility through every step of the process.
I could tell from our initial meeting he is very smart and well educated in the law. But he was holding out on me, as the case proceeded John showed me what a Master Strategist he is.
John is very professional, and beats down attorneys who try to play dirty with the law. I would hire him again in a heart beat. John took the time to address every question and fear throughout the entire case. And at the end of the day he made me feel more like we were friends than just attorney/ client.
All in all, due to John, the outcome of my divorce could not have been dreamed up better. I trust this man with my financial life and security. Had i hired someone else, I would surly be in turmoil & ruins.

John Kappel represented me in a very unique settlement. My divorce was finalized 31 years ago in Dallas County. I was represented, at the time, by an attorney who has since retired. As my former spouse started to retire, it was discovered that the Qualified Domestic Relations Order was missing specific wording and needed to be amended. At the last minute, my former spouse attempted to change the total agreement - drastically affecting my settlement. Once John took over my case, he truly became my advocate. He broke everything down and presented options to me in a clear concise manner, keeping me informed every step of the way. After he spoke to opposing counsel, they stopped trying to change the already approved settlement. John took what had been a very stressful and emotionally draining situation and handled everything in his calm and professional manner. John is a master strategist – he confronted opposing counsel with the facts…and they backed down. I would recommend John to anyone who wants to have their case handled without drama, but with skill and professionalism.
