Introduction: My name is Brett Backus. I'm the owner and operator of Backus Builders. I have over 14 years of commercial construction experience where I specialized in big box retail stores. I've worked with and built stores for clients such as Whole Foods, Costco, Albertsons, Cvs, and the list goes on. In 2015 I got my General B license with the intention of bringing my construction experience to the residential sector. I love serving others, and there is a large need for honest, trust worthy, contractors in the residential market. I spent the 12 years prior to founding Backus Builders working for one of California's largest private commercial General Contractors. I started from the bottom of this company sweeping floors, and left as a project manager. I've worked almost every position in between on my way up the corporate ladder. We are licensed, bonded, and carry a 1 million dollar General Liablilty Insurance policy.
