Introduction: Perry Jurick is a young photographer from Dayton, Ohio, aspiring to travel and capture the world through the lens of a camera. She specializes in portrait, wedding, artistic, and fashion photography and is always excited for unique and different projects! Her goal is to take something simple and making it beautiful. I focus on making everything affordable for my clients. I try and make sure that you can do whatever you want with your photos because they are, in fact, YOUR photos. Perry took my senior pictures and they were fantastic. I still love them two years later! I also had another session with her this past summer with my boyfriend. Her photography just gets better and better each time I work with her! She was so easy to work with both times and she made sure me and my boyfriend felt comfortable. It was a really fun and relaxing time. She has so many ideas and makes sure you get lots of pictures that are also great quality. She also makes sure she gets the pictures to you asap which I appreciated a lot because I love getting pictures, but I get impatient waiting for them! Perry gets them to you quickly! I love getting my pictures done by Perry and I would love to get more!

When I needed my senior pictures done in late 2013 I contacted Perry because I've known her for years and I always knew she was an awesome photographer. She did an amazing job and even though they were taken about two years ago they're still some of my favorite pictures of me. Shes really talented and shes really good at making you feel comfortable and free.

I was one of Perry's first photo-shoots, she did a great job directing me and taking pictures from different angles. If I was uncomfortable with something she worked with me to make it easy and still end up with an amazing shot. I've followed her work since and I love watching her work grow and change as she gets further experienced. Perry is my go to girl when I need a photographer!

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Everybody will consult with me first about all of your preferences. This includes location, outfits, what kind of shoot you are wanting, any particular shots you have in mind, etc. After we consult (either over email, texting, or in person) we will schedule the day, time, and location of your shoot. After the actual shoot, I ask anywhere from a week to a few weeks (depending on the season and how busy my schedule is) to edit the pictures. Afterwards, we will meet to pick out your favorite 25, 50, or all of the edited pictures and they will be sent to you in an online album.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've gone to school for a semester for photography, but much rather working in the field. I have worked as an assistant for Alison Kamper Photography (Dayton, OH) and Samborsky Photography & Design (Cincinnati, OH) and have also been a photographer for Portrait Innovations. Previous commissions have been for Ecosox.
