- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I always strive to price my services competitively, and make sure the customer knows exactly what to expect as far as what is included in the quote. If they have a target budget, I will work with them to make sure they can get the best bang for what their budget allows.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet with the customer via phone or in person to discuss the scope of the project (what they need and when they need it). I then put together a quote outlining services that will be provided either for a set price or hourly, depending on their preferences. If the quote is accepted, I will create a timeline that specifies when content needs to be in my hands, when proofs will be ready, target print/production dates, etc. so the customer can easily track how the project is going.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in Communications/Graphic Design, and have years of experience working both as an in-house designer and as a freelance professional.
