- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a free phone consultation in which you may call and discuss your situation, my services, what you are looking for in a therapist, and administrative information for up to 30 minutes at no charge. Hourly sessions typically run from $80 per session. However, a sliding scale structure would allow for lower rates based off income, so if your salary is less than $50,000, this will be adjusted accordingly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free phone consultation and then will typically set up the first in-office appointment during this phone call.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my bachelor's in psychology and in Spanish and my master's in clinical psychology with an emphasis in trauma studies. I have experience working with clients from a wide array of backgrounds ethnically, socioeconomically, and of varying religious backgrounds. I have focused my work on helping clients develop positive coping skills to support their complete well-being mentally, emotionally, and physically. I am most passionate about the counseling relationship being a safe place for individuals to come and process pain in a protected outlet and trusting relationship so as to allow for complete healing and development of helpful coping skills that allow for long-lasting change rather than a "quick fix" or temporary band aid.
