I like to set up an appointment to meet them. In a comfortable setting I like to take 40-60 minutes to understand specific goals and their individuality in getting there. There is the opportunity to ask questions of myself. This gives them the opportunity to be 100 percent clear on their choice of my services

- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a person that would wander the gym picking machines and try to follow instructions on the machine. I really didn't have a plan of action at the gym. In 1998 I had a 24 Hour Fitness membership and my wife, at that time, decided to take advantage of a personal training special offer. She introduced me to her trainer and I was given a free session and decided to take advantage of offer as well. The first trainer, Rob, got me started on a initial plan. I enjoyed it and continued and was given a new trainer, Brian. Brian is one of the best investments I ever made for myself! In late 2000, I took a part time job as the overnight desk person at the 24 Hour Fitness nearest to my residence. Gained a little more knowledge and was introduced to the Owner of the local National Personal Training Institute. Brian had given me the plan, focus and motivation for myself. I have the pleasure of having a few good friends who are very good endurance athletes and turned me onto such activities as running, road and mountain biking. In my process I then felt it would be a pleasure to teach and motivate others to a healthy lifestyle.
