Dan Jaynes has provided my wife and me with outstanding couples counseling for more than four years now. He is a superb marriage counselor! He is an excellent, quality-listener, who then takes what he hears and helps mold it into very fair, balanced, helpful, and productive suggestions for improving our marriage. He is very down to earth, and one of his greatest strengths is his ability to see, suggest, and help us implement very practical compromises and other solutions that have dramatically helped improve our marital relations. Another unique strength is his ability to act as a facilitator that helps my wife and I to often reach our own mutual conclusions that we might not have reached on our own without the help of a skilled mediator to lead us in the right direction and reach happy compromises that, while our own, would not have been reachable without his facilitation services to help us get there. Dan is also very pleasant and enjoyable to work with so that even though our sessions involve tough questions and difficult work, we have actually started to look forward to them and always feel better about each other, our relationship, problems, and solutions after each session. Finally, he's a really nice guy, totally even-keeled, and completely non-judgmental. That last point is especially important because Dan never judges or invalidates anyone's feelings. Instead, we take them for what they are and just get to work trying to accommodate or improve them in the context of our marriage. I think his non-judgmental approach is a key to his success as a couples counselor. Overall, Dan is superb at his profession, which I think he was born to do! My wife and I both recommend him highly to anyone in need of such counseling, and we plan to continue to see him for years to come.

My wife and I had tremendous success overcoming our relationship hiccups with Dan as our guide. He was tremendous at bridging the communication rift and helping us to truly understand each other. The methods he showed us on bonding were pivotal and we still use them today. I highly recommend him and his approach to helping you be a better you.

My husband and I have been seeing him for only a few months but I think it has been very helpful. We have had poor experiences in the past w couples therapy. He really took time to figure out our goals and what we need. He has been very patient and has a calm demeanor. He is also very fair and balanced which is so important. I would highly recommend him!

I've been meeting with Dan now for over two months. He's been helping me through an emotional divorce. I can't say enough about the support and guidance that I'm receiving from our sessions. Dan's caring and non-judgmental approach to therapy is helping me open up, stay present and helping me heal and grow as a person. I highly recommend Dan as a therapist.

Dan is an incredible therapist and has been invaluable to my wife and I. We started sessions with him to help with our crumbling marriage. Finding a therapist you relate to and feel comfortable with can be difficult, but Dan's kind and caring nature has made this very easy. He makes us feel understood. Going into each session, I am able to be myself, feel open about saying anything, and lead the conversation wherever I want. Dan gives tangible advice that we were able to use. Our marriage is stronger than it has ever been, and we feel fortunate to have found Dan. I can't recommend him enough!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our sessions will last for 45-50 minutes.
I am not on any insurance panels. if you have out-of-network benefits I can help you with getting reimbursement.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I believe in a collaborative healing approach. Together, we identify areas of concern and develop strategies for change. I believe in exploring the underlying causes of our struggles. My approach is varied, taking and blending techniques from a variety of sources, rather than relying on a single system of intervention.
Individual Therapy- Recognizing the need for change can be exciting. The path forward is sometimes unclear, and at times, overwhelming. Together, we will develop a plan for the change you desire. Over time, this change can become long-lasting, and transformative.
Couples Counseling- We all bring our personal history and experience to relationship. I believe that sharing this story with your partner in different ways can reveal a deeper level of understanding and intimacy. A new way of relating announces itself; revealing entirely new possibilities in your relationship.
