Introduction: There are a lot of contractors out there who do a good job, but what sets me apart is my commitment to customer service. What that means is that while I can build you a beautiful deck or a shiny new kitchen, I will also make sure that your dog doesn't get out (if you have one), that no one will track dirt from the work area to your living space, that no one will be blasting a radio at 7:00 A.M. and that your possessions will be treated with respect and will be untouched at the end of the job. I think what keeps me coming back is the variety of work -- something different in every job. I also enjoy creating something. I believe all tradesmen are artists at heart.

From the initial meeting with Frank his attention, and understanding as to my needs, and was refreshing. He walked me through how the building process worked and how it would take place. All the workers were polite, and professional. The Basement turned out better then expected, and we are enjoying the new space. It's been along time since I have work with a company that did what they said they would do, and do it for a fair cost. I would recommend PORCHLIGHT CONSTRUCTION to anyone doing any residential remodeling work.

Frank was excellent to work with and I will definitely be contacting him again for future projects. He is very knowledgeable, and did a great job on my front door. He was even able to keep the inside trim in tact. The project looks great. As a single, female homeowner, it is important to me to feel safe and respected when I hire people to be working in and around my home. Frank meets and exceeds expectations for both of these criteria, and I would recommend him to anyone who wants quality work at a really reasonable price.

I wanted my Fireplace to have a nice tile hearth, a reclaimed wood mantel and a beetle kill main body. The work Frank did was above and beyond what I would have thought. He was always gracious and attentive to what I had in mind. If I do more work in my home that needs a general contractor Frank will definitely get repeat business.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't have a standard pricing system. I bid per job and the client has a solid number before we get started. Most customers are comfortable with this arrangement.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I LISTEN to the customer first and foremost. I also have them write down what it is they want done. This reduces the chance for confusion and helps me help the customer make an informed decision on the feasibility of their project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
30 years of on the job training have provided me with a rich and diverse education. As I have matured I have learned to embrace my mistakes and learn from them. I know a lot but I don't know it all and still learn something new everyday. I would like to mention that I am licensed by the City and County of Denver and carry a BBB accreditation.
