FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not have a standard bidding system because every job is unique. There are always contingencies that can effect what a job should cost. A customer with A vacant house and a back yard to cut in and a dumpster out front. That wants a simple pattern. Shouldn't have to pay the same price as someone who lives in a finely furnished condo on the 20th floor. Who has very intricate designs that can be very time consuming. So I just try and give people a good deal specific to the amount of work that goes into doing a good job. Customized to the individual needs of that client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I like to see really who the customer is and what they are looking for. There are a lot of different types of customers. Some people are very excited about the upgrades they are doing and really want something special. Which I personally love to be involved in. And some customers are more worried about function, budget and schedule. They are more or less doing it because it needs to be done. So identifying the needs of the individual is where I like to start.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Well even though I'm a young man at 35 years old I've been in the industry for almost 20 years now. And as you can see from my portfolio I love getting involved with the most complicated jobs this industry can throw at us. So not only do I spend a lot of time with product reps keeping up to date with state of the art products and installation methods attending as many workshops and training seminars as possible. I've spent a lot of my time working closely with engineers and top quality design teams keeping us up to date With not only whats trending, but cutting edge building techniques too.
