- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and a Masters degree in Finance. Additionally, I was an accountant for an oil field company for 5 years - I did all their paperwork, including their taxes. Furthermore, I have been a Tax Preparer for the past 3 years doing both individual and corporate taxes. I have completed over a thousand people's taxes.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started preparing taxes in undergrad and continued doing it through graduate school.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
All kinds of folks. From people who lived in mansions, to people who lived in trailer parks. Additionally, I have done taxes and bookkeeping work for corporations that have $10,000,000+ in revenue. By far the coolest client I ever had was U.S. astronaut and Space Shuttle Commander Stephen Frick. You can say he was out of this world ;)
