Introduction: I believe in movement for happiness no matter a person's age, size, current physical condition, or ability. I specialize in mat and equipment Pilates, Russian kettlebell (RKC), TRX suspension training, general weightlifting. Nothing is more satisfying than teaching a person how to exert control of his or her body. Whether it's easily lifting a couple hundred pounds off the floor, or being able to do the activities one loves pain free, my mission in life to get people where they want to be. Or better yet, where they never thought they could go!

Charis not only pushed me to do more than I thought I could, she carefully chose exercises that would make my body move better AND be stronger. She is a no-nonsense driver but you always know she has your best interests in mind and is practical in her approach to training. Whether it's time management or traveling a lot for work (like I do) that prevent you from getting your nutrition and physical activity where you want it to be, Charis offers innovative suggestions to help you make small changes towards a big differences. I love her directness and VAST knowledge, especially when it comes to alignment and technique. I would recommend her to anyone who is ready to see what they are really capable of!

I've yet to find a better trainer than her.I worked with Charis years ago and only left her services due to money and school (at the time I was a student and after graduating I had moved away). I regret not getting more workouts in. If I still lived in the same area as her I would train with her in a heartbeat. Charles is an incredibly well-rounded trainer. She listened to all of my concerns and needs and factored those things into my program. She has multiple certifications, and extensive knowledge with nutrition. She created a well-rounded program for me that included; free weight lifting, cardio, kettlebells.ect. She gave me workout routines to do outside of her time. Charis discuss meal plans with me and even checked in with me to ensure I was on track. Your goals are as important to her as they are to you. I live in the New York area now and cannot find anyone as qualified, or thoughtful.

Charis is a superhuman. She's fun, intense, incredibly motivating, and insanely knowledgable. I've seen her instill effective, impactful, long lasting fitness techniques to both beginners and seasoned athletes. No matter who you are, she will kick you ass- but she'll also make sure you know the theory and reason behind each movement.

Charis is an excellent Pilates and fitness instructor! She cares about correct form and kicks your ass while teaching you skills that transfer to any form of exercise. She also takes the time to answer any questions you have, offers advice, and truly listens to any pain/body issues you're experiencing, whether short-term or long-term. And she's funny to boot! Highly recommend Charis!
