What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have a regular set of prices that adjust with square footage. Prices are generally 30-45 dollars a room.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We take in consideration the type of work that the client is requesting, we discuss commercial rates or residential rates, we gain a full understanding of what the job details are and can generally complete the requested job within a business day. Specified dates are also welcome
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was raised in the industry by my parents, I have also been certified through accredited classes, IICRC Certification.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father was a carpet cleaner as I was growing up.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We generally deal with residential and commercial clients who often ask about out cleaning solutions. It is very important to know that the cleaning solutions used in any service is eco-friendly, pet-safe, and child-safe. We use nothing other than completely safe and non-toxic cleaning solutions.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We do carpet sales and installations, recently we re-carpeted a home that required a very specific type of carpet that is not generally sold in major stores. We were able to locate the carpet and still get an amazing price doe the homeowner. It feels good to know we are the "go-to" place for all flooring needs.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always ask about up-selling. Upholstery most especially, some companies upsell on the sofa's cushions and pillows. You should always ask about cleaning solutions and cleaning method. Steam-cleaning is by far the best and most effective cleaning practice. Make sure you are getting the best deal for your money, always ask if there are promotions going on as well, most companies do in this industry.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Do you have pet odor? Do you have general odor? Do you have pets and children to think and organize around? Think of what your budget is before calling. Do you have aggressive staining? Is your carpet contaminated with anything?
