Introduction: Resume writing in not just about "writing a resume". Let me explain, the GOAL of resume writing is to get an interview; however, in a world of too much information how do get noticed when you have only about 4 - 6 seconds. My goal is to help you become noticed in those few short seconds and then leave a memorable impressionable for days, weeks, or months to come. There are a number of ways to make this happen, both in the content of the resume, but also in the way it is formatted and the graphics. Having seen and worked with over 10,000 resumes over my career and working on both sides of recruiting I know what most people do and what stands out. You have ONLY 6 seconds - NOT the 2-3 minutes most say - to capture the recruiters attention. It is very difficult to stand out especially if you are applying for the top job in your field where there will be hundreds of applications. Additionally, there are many "tricks" recruiters use to separate resumes apart. 96% of resumes go immediately to the trash pile without EVER GETTING LOOKED AT! It is important to know what these are, and almost every "resume writer" gets this wrong. This is where having an insider in the recruitment field is so important. It's like playing in a chess tournament and having a Chess Grand Master whispering all the moves in your ear. Helping people. Everything else would be prideful and vain.

Vince helped me out with my resume. Within 2 weeks of submitting 7 resumes I had job offers on 5 of them! All high-quality jobs too.

The re-write really surprised me and hey... I ended up getting the job I wanted. I'd say it was worth every penny. He was very attentive and made sure I gave him an exhaustive list so he could do the best job possible. If I change jobs again I'll definitely get his help before I go after the positions I want.

They helped me create a resume in mere hours. The results are compelling, to say the least! My skill sets haven't changed in the slightest yet potential employers have expressed more interest in me than ever before. To say that his resume creation skills are great is an understatement. I've never been more satisfied with my professional persona than I am now that they have remade it.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing is dependent on the project. If you're in need of a basic resume rewrite, edit, critique the price will be considerable cheaper than projects such as infographic resumes, resume video letters, etc. Most customers that aren't executives are in the $125 - $250 range depending on the extent of the services. For example a complete resume interview, rewrite, advanced graphics package, and more usually runs around $125 (while we are holding our 50% Thumbtack discount). For Linkedin profile help and complete rebranding packages that include extensive website development and social media enhancement the project will obviously be more expensive.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I love helping people and something I've done for many years because of my recruiting background

  • What types of customers have you worked with?
