I came to Jarrett as an experienced distance runner starting to show his age. As an experienced running coach, I knew that in order to maintain a competitive level of training as I get older I would need to do appropriate strength training but I also knew that my knowledge in that area was sorely lacking. Jarrett has helped me enormously in the last year in two ways. First, he has systematically identified and corrected deficiencies in my strength which in turn has kept me injury free and improving. Second, he has always been willing to discuss the reasons WHY we have done each and every exercise. I highly recommend Jarrett as a coach and I am also very grateful for the knowledge and understanding that he has brought to my training.

I started using Jarrett after my trainer of 8 years moved out of the area. He brought a different approach to our sessions which was very refreshing. He makes sure that you get the most out of your workouts. He is extremely knowledgeable about anatomy and more importantly how to minimize the aches and pains we all get.

My trainer of 10+ years relocated. He recommended Jarrett and provided Jarrett a summary of my training experience. Jarrett took the time to set a baseline of my level of fitness & limitations so he could customize a training program to fit my goals and capacity. And, most importantly he varies the exercises every 3 weeks to keep it interesting & challenging.

Jarrett is a great coach and a great man. I have done a large variety of different strength programs written by him and I have always been happy with the results. Jarrett has also been very flexible with my changing strength and conditioning goals and has always been easy to contact when questions come up. I would recommended him to everyone ranging from a beginner to a seasoned high level athlete.
