FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Because it is unlikely that any two projects are identical, it is difficult to have a standard pricing system in place. Our pricing takes into account several factors: the size of the space, the use of the space, and special equipment that may need to be used and/or installed in the space, to name a few. While a space might seem relatively small, that doesn't mean the engineering design work needed to get permits will be minimal. There's a lot that you don't see going on behind the walls to get power, water, and air conditioning (to say the least) to a space.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We get as much information as possible from our new clients to ensure that we give them exactly what they want. As far as our engineering design is concerned, this includes asking what kind of specialty equipment their space may need (such as in commercial kitchens or medical/dental spaces) and what kinds of rooms their project will include, if they haven't already provided a floorplan for us to base our fee of off.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our firm is made up of professionals that have, at minimum, Bachelor's degrees in their specific field of engineering.
