Called Nicko on Labor day 2015 about replacing flooring in my office room, about 130 sq ft. He came over in less than 30 minutes (lives close by) and gave me an estimate for the job and we agreed on a date. He delivered the wood and I gave him a deposit for the amount of the wood. The wood needed to adjust to the conditions in my house and he came back the next week to install it. He put on 3 coats of Swedish finish over 3 days leaving a day in the middle to dry. He sanded between coats and detail sanded along the walls by hand. The job exceeded my expectations and looks great. He did an excellent job of blending the new floor with the existing floor at the doorway so you don't notice any difference. He will be putting hardwood floor in my living room in about 2 weeks. The wood has already been delivered. His price is very competitive. He is a small operation and will not burden you with contracts, written estimates and paperwork, just good honest craftsmanship. He communicates well by cellphone and email and that will be your record of his bid.

Good quality workmanship. We used them for 3 separate projects. Once there was some squeaking on the stairs after the job was done so they came back and spent adequate time to fix the problem without charge. Nick also helped us find flooring materials that were better priced than we found out there so we saved money. We would use them again for our next project!
