Less than 5 minutes after Rorie arrived, our pup knew he was no longer the alpha. By coming to our house and working with us 1-on-1, she was able to observe his natural behavior and teach us constructive techniques for getting the desired behavior. He's responding to her techniques so well - his leash manners have greatly improved already. He wants to be a good boy and Rorie is showing him how. We are all looking forward to our next lesson!Oct 24, 2017
We are very pleased with Aurora's service. She took us and our dog for a walk and showed us some very helpful pointers for walking our dog on a leash. She also pointed out things to do to stop the dogs from barking when the door bell rings or someone knocks on the door.Aug 11, 2017Verified
Penny had such a great experience. Aurora did more than just walking and feeding her. She took her to run along side her bike, her long board, and she even went swimming in the Poudre River. Afterwards, she gave Penny a bath! What a great service!!!Jul 13, 2016Verified
Aurora is diligent and very sweet, and our dogs seemed relaxed around her from the get go. She is also formally educated in, and trained on, animal behavior. Her prices are extremely reasonable as well!Jun 1, 2016Verified
Having a one-on-one dog training routine with Rorie has not only helped my dogs performance but now I understand animal behavior. I now have the knowledge to correct my dog in ways he can understand and realize what I’m asking of him. Every animal is unique and Rorie has the ability to adapt for all needs.Oct 21, 2017

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? For pet care, it depends on the job and the number of animals. Standard care includes (for a healthy dog) feeding, any medication needs, two 1-hr walks, and a play activity every day. For dog training, I will charge $40-50 for the session, depending on the dog and the problem behavior. My quote is not hourly. I will work with a client for as long as it takes to get the desired results without increasing the quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When working with a new client, I first listen to the details of the situation or service requested. Once I have a good understanding, we will collaborate on a plan to achieve the desired results the client is asking for. Upon finishing the job, I will always follow up with the client to check in if any further service is required.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Bachelor degree in Animal Behavior Studies, I've worked with a local trainer for over 2 years and have applied experience from over 7 years of dog sitting, training, and walking.
