Marcela Montoya Remodeling , Inc.
We have only just submitted permits, but so far she is great! Prices seem to be right, and she has very good ideas. She also really knows what will or will not probably be approved and what we need to do to make sure it is. She's also very, very nice and easy to work with. She actually listens to what you want. She's very attractive too! Although that has nothing to do with getting my project done. :)May 25, 2017Verified
Marcela and her team are amazing! She drew up a great quote and design. I relied heavily on her for suggestions. I gave her a vague idea of what I wanted and we went from there. The result is so beautiful. I can't believe it's my kitchen. We did all this with me being in California too! I can't imagine too many people I would trust to deliver a kitchen while I'm working 3000 miles away. We finished even finished early and on-budget. I walked in yesterday to see it was even more beautiful in person! Thanks again for being super professional and easy to work withSep 22, 2016Verified

Q & A
- How did you get started doing this type of work?By being an architect I was often visiting jobsites to make sure that the plans reflected the reality of the job. I discovered that I liked the contracting world much better than being in the office sitting at the computer the entire day.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?I was hired by a couple who wanted to sell their condominium asap, but the kitchen and the master bathroom were never remodeled. They wanted to be able to sell quickly and get better offers by remodeling before placing the property on the market. After we obtained the permits (in three weeks), we completed the construction process with custom cabinetry in two weeks finishing ahead of time and under budget.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Make sure your contractors are licensed and insured. They should offer you a detailed written estimate, backed up by a contract. As a customer you have to protect yourself from people acting as contractors. You can visit the Florida Department of Business and Professional regulation page to make sure you are informed of the contracting lien laws.
