- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes. I generally charge $150 for personal tax returns, Form 1040, and $250 for business tax returns such as Form 1065, Form 1120, and Form 1120s. My usual hourly rate is $55 per hour. Of course if you post a job I will be bidding on your work and the price may be lower!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically we will have a conversation about the project. This could be a Skype voice conversation, a Skype text conversation, a phone conversation, e-mail conversation, or other. Then I provide a list of documents I need to get started. I then provide a draft of the work, we discuss and changes, and hopefully the work is then finished quickly.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's in Accounting in addition to my CPA license. In order to keep my CPA license I must have 40 hours of continuing education classes per year.
