Math & Science Tutoring

Introduction: My goal is to help students reach their upmost academic potential. One bad experience can change a student’s view on school but I am here to help. I work with students to pin-point exact areas they are having trouble with and explain concepts and techniques in different ways until we figure out which way works best for the student. I interact with the student by having them answer questions and explain their understanding of the material to boost their confidence. Unfortunately, I have found some school systems are not set up to help students who are having trouble properly succeed. However, I strive to take the struggle out of learning and put excitement back in. As a recent college graduate, there are plenty of “secrets” I wish I had to succeed in higher education rather than figuring them out the hard way. During my tutoring lessons, I will introduce methods that you can carry on with you throughout your entire academic career. I firmly believe that anyone can learn and, most importantly, fully understand math and science and attain their goals no matter how high. I am available to tutor General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Middle & Elementary School Math & Science, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-calculus, Trigonometry, various Psychology courses, Research Methods, Genetics, Physical Science, General Biology 1 & 2, and more. My favorite part about tutoring is the moment when I see the student have that "aha!" moment. When the student realizes that they CAN master this subject and knowing that they put in the time and effort to be successful.
