Introduction: I created Shear DYEnamics after several years of working and running busy salons. We were forced to double and triple book clients, have assistants do most of our work, and charge top dollar "to see me as a top stylist"..... when in reality you saw my assistant more. I was stressed out and you were paying top dollar in a fancy salon....so I brought it back to a small shop. It's just ME! (And my partner and massage girl but we all do our own thing) I brought it back to YOU AND ME! I want to talk to you and know what YOU want and concentrate on doing what I do best. Our shop is small and we concentrate on one person at a time. We love what we do and we base ourselves on integrity and honesty. My schedule is flexible and I always accommodate. This is my home and I always want it to feel that way to anyone who walks through the door. I offer a wide variety of services from cut and coloring, extensions, and keratin treatments. I take the the time to do a thorough consultation to make sure I give my guests exactly what they are looking for. Nothing makes me happier than being able to give my guests exactly what they are looking for whether it be a new look or regular maintenance.

Shannon has been cutting and coloring my hair for at least 6 years and has always done a superb job. She has a keen eye for color and I trust her ideas and recommendations completely. Her talent and skill enable her to give me an instyle cut that is easy to maintain and a color that is always perfect. Also, her ability to communicate with her clients to understand their needs and wants is excellent. She is also great at making suggestions and explaining her vision but never forcing her ideas on the client I have the utmost confidence in Shannon and I completely trust and highly recommend her.

Shannan has been such a pleasure to have as my hair stylist for the past few years. She's always so flexible and works with my ever-changing work schedule (thanks for putting up with me!). What I love about Shannan is the fact that her prices are reasonable and she always provides a superb cut. I've tested everything from long hair cuts to short hair cuts with Shannan and she's never disappointed! I've included two photos of my short and long hair cuts for reference. She also does cuts, dye and treatments for my parents and family friends. Each of us has drastically different types of hair and Shannan adheres her vast knowledge to each type. I would highly suggest visiting her salon to see what she can do for you!

I've been going to see Shannan for over 3 years now. My hair always lays perfectly and holds it shape all day long, amazing what a great cut will do. My color is consistent and long lasting. She is more than accommodating to fit you in her schedule. Don't waste your time going to another shop. Go see Shannan!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I LOVE new guests!! I like to show them that there is hope beyond the last bad haircut or that girl/guy that didn't listen to what they wanted....or they weren't greeted with a simple "hello!" when walking through the door. To me it's very simple.... you are my priority, this is your time, and I'm here to make you feel the best about your time spent with me. Not that I don't love everyone that's been to see me... but I love to welcome people to my home, watch them get comfortable, enjoy, relax, and walk out with the best hair in their life!
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Have some ideas and pictures of what you are looking for! Even if it's not your hair type or texture, it will give us a better understanding of your style and comfort zone and also allow us to explain what will and won't work and why.
