Introduction: We are primarily a fencing contractor called 3 rivers fence. There are big differences between contractors and if you are going to buy a fence, you should understand these differences and what the lowest bid actually means, because we cannot be the lowest bid and also the highest quality. We will however be competitive, you will not be overpaying and you will get an outstanding value. The life of your fence will be dependent on the life of the posts. Our holes are 10" wide and 32" deep for a 6 foot tall or greater fence. When comparing this to an 8 inch wide hole 25 inches deep, our holes will require 146 lbs of concrete, and while it may not seem like a huge difference, the smaller hole will only take 60 lbs MAXIMUM of concrete. Our installations will far outlast the 8 inch, 25 inch deep example.
Your wood gate posts will be 4x6 rather than 4x4, giving your gate extra support for the hinge side to resist post sagging and those holes will be 12 inches wide and 32 inches deep, taking a whopping 198 lbs of concrete! Then our gates will be built with more support than most, helping you to avoid common gate sag.
Materials will be delivered in bulk, which does not allow us the opportunity to hand select your materials. However, as the materials are consumed any we find less than acceptable, or attractive, will be set aside and returned for exchange.
You will receive a professional consultation and professional drawings for your project (not hand written) for your reference and assistance getting neighborhood association approvals if needed.
Finally, I as the owner and president of 2DK Investment LLC, DBA 3 rivers fence, will be personally on site and participate in the installation of your fence with our 3 person crew insuring efficient operations, and most importantly meeting our high quality standards.
We are insured against liability issues protecting your property from damages in the unlikely event they should occur (we have never had a claim) and our employees are protected with workers compensation insurance.
