- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on the size of the job and/or if any additional material will be needed, I typically ask for 1/3 of the total bid up front, to cover costs, 1/3 half-way through completion, and then 1/3 when the job is completed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I give free estimates and do a thorough walk-through of a job site before beginning any work. I like to make sure I am on the same page as my clients at all times.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I get a lot of homeowners who are eager to remodel their houses in order to put them up for sale. I've done small jobs, from painting cabinets and single rooms, to large jobs, such as remodeling homes and businesses.
