Let me first start by saying that this is my first time leaving a review and I feel that it's very important for me to share my experience with E & H Construction specifically with Joell. It took my wife and myself weeks looking and researching on a company to do our guest bath remodeling. Let me say that contacting Joell was the best decision that was made. We had many concern, many questions and many doubts but having Joell in our home making measurements and answering all of our questions and being patient with us and not make us feel pressure on hiring him. It made our decision very easy. In the past we have been burnt by others but Joell the real deal. Joell was there every step of the way from the very first meeting to the very last day of the project. We are very happy with the outcome and in love with our guest bathroom. Our only regret is we should have started the master bathroom instead. We had a great experience with E & H construction. We will be contacting Joell for our future remodeling.

Joell and his team was very professional. They worked with my schedule and was very flexible when having his team show back up to complete the work. And they never left a mess, when they would finish for the day they always cleaned up. I would hire Joell and his team to do more work on my home. I am very pleased and satisfied with the renovation remodeling of my bath room.

E&H remodeled our son's upstairs bathroom, and we couldn't be happier with the results. They were responsive, professional, on time, and courtesy from the minute I contacted them, all the way through to the final finished detail. Joell set our expectations up front, provided great advice, and communicated with us daily. He provided Project Management and oversight throughout the process and exceeded our expectations. The craftsmanship of the tile work and plumbing is outstanding. We are so happy with the quality of work and the service they provided, we are planning to use them again for several other projects at our home. Hire these guys. You will be glad you did!

Waited a few months before leaving review because sometimes it takes a while to notice things. They were pretty responsive and their pricing was fair. The quality of work is relatively good - bathroom looks good - minus some imperfections that according to contractor “are expected.” I doubt anyone pays to have “imperfections.” I noticed bathroom floor tile has not been sealed and corners of shower have not been caulked - he asked me to buy caulking for it (even though he said he’d get all materials - but whatever if I can help I will), but didn’t do it for some reason and no idea why they didn’t seal the floor tile. Overall quality of work is…good. I wouldn’t hire again. Contractor was very professional during the quote, but changed once hired. Did not follow through with his word/commitments and made excuses for imperfections/problems with the job. I’m finding myself doing more touch up jobs as time goes on. If you do hire E&H, make sure you keep tabs on everything he says. He will reference the quote - the quote will change as the project goes on which is expected, just be careful - keep tabs on what he says. Hold him accountable and inspect the job daily. Maybe my lack of involvement led to these imperfections. It wasn’t until I started inspecting the job that things started to get done right and in a timely manner.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based solely on the work needed to complete the job, and in line item format.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It starts at the meet and greet first. I ask if there are ideas you have or pics of what you would like , and see if you have ever been through a remodel. I will take measurements, draw up plans, and give you a upfront expectation of what is going to take place. I’m not here to say everything can be done, but rather show you if it is feasible for your home/project. After I have everything prepared I would like to meet in person once more, and make sure we are I the same page with what will take place.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My family, mostly my grandfathers whom were both carpenters. I remember going through a whole home addition at our home, watching them work, and give me a hands-on training at the same time!
