We posted our need for services on Thumbtack and Matt Phillips was prompt and courteous in getting back with us. When circumstances caused us to delay getting started, Matt was the perfect balance of persistent and patient, not crowding us for a response, but occasionally letting us know he was there to help. Although we just have one small rental house for him to manage, we have been treated like a very important client, and all calls and emails have been promptly returned. Best of all, Matt found us some fantastic tenants -- and very quickly. We have been impressed with how professionally each step of the process has gone so far, and we look forward to working with Gemstone.

We typically charge a standard percentage of the monthly collected rent for monthly management services, one of the lowest in the industry, accompanied by the best service.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will arrange a visit to the property owner's home to discuss the potential client's needs. At that time we answer any questions the property owner has regarding our services - from our full service marketing, 5-point screening process, lease execution, move-in and day-to-day management.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I enjoy serving others and making their lives easier. This industry quickly proved to be a perfect opportunity to do just that everyday. Facilitating joy is our mission. We do this by making property ownership less burdensome landlord-tenant relationships more peaceful.
