FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Per Project
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I give a design consultation. This will be over the phone. This will only last for about 30 minutes. We will review what services you will be needing from me and I will then schedule a time for us to go over everything in more detail. We can have another phone meeting or we can meet in person. At this time I will charge for a design consultation (I will charge extra for drive time). Next, I will provide you with a scope of services agreement for you to sign and send back. After the initial design work is done, we will have a meeting to go over selections. You can then make adjustments. I will make these adjustments and further selections and we will meet again. If we need to visit any places together to make selections such as countertops, we will discuss this via phone or email. I work using a computer program to lay out options. I will add you to these virtual boards for you to view selections and you will be able to communicate with me regarding the project this way as well. It is a delightful process and I have had good feedback from working this way with my clients. Final payments will be due at the finish of my selection process, after all loose ends are tied. If further Project management is necessary throughout the stages of construction or remodeling, an additional design service will be applied.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
