Mr. Cox was a no-show for our "around 11:00 a.m" appointment for 8/16/17. He also did not even bother to give us the courtesy of a phone call but he seemed to have no issues logging onto his Thumbtack account 3 hours before our scheduled appointment. There is simply no excuse for disrespecting another person's time. In the future, if you do not want to come out to give an estimate or if you do not want the job (because of location or whatever the reason/excuse) than try to act like adult with some honesty and tell the customer so they can find a service provider that actually does want the job.
I guess the lack of any online information about Southern Landscape/Brandon Cox in the way of a website, Facebook page, etc. should have been a red flag to me.
I reached out to Thumbtack about this, as this was our very first experience with this site, and they encouraged me to post this review to help others.

I apologize that I missed our consultation this morning. I keep all of my appointments on a set calendar on my phone which did not remind me today because of a technical difficulty. While I believe I should have remembered it myself, I apologize for not having done so. The review you left reflects how you feel, however I can assure you is not how our company operates. We strive for the satisfaction of every customer. I wish you all the best in your endeavor to find a service provider that you feel will complete your job according to your standards.
