Introduction: Health and fitness is not a one size fits all quick fix. Reach your goals through customized science based nutrition plans and effective workouts. After completing my BFA in Dance in 2005, I knew I wanted to be in the business of health and fitness. I have worked with a range of clients, all with specific goals, including but not limited to: weight loss, strength training, yoga, meal planning, pilates, and rehabilitation. Several of my clients have physical obstacles that we work on to create a stronger and more comfortable life for them, such as recovery from a stroke, Lewey body dementia, knee and hip replacements, disc fusion, and much more. I also have a running and triathlon racing background that has helped me with numerous clients. No one should live with constant pain, whether its physical or emotional. My mission is to help people reach their fitness goals and deal with pain through nutrition and movement.

5.0 star rating She has provided me a plan that is tailored to my needs and lifestyle, including the ability to adjust for my travel schedule. Having the flexibility to work out at home with the equipment I have or the gym when I am able, not to mention on the road with limited time and access to equipment, ensures I have no excuse when it comes to getting my work outs in. I have noticed a HUGE difference in overall strength and flexibility, and an incredible boost to my running. In addition to the weekly work out plans, having the support around physiology and nutrition based on my needs at any given moment have certainly contributed to my success. Katie is always responsive and helpful, not to mention supportive of my goals, struggles, and successes too. I highly recommend Dawson Flexible Fitness!!

I am not a review writer, but Katie asked for reviews and I am happy to oblige! I was becoming a lazy Junk Food Vegan and found her while investigating nutritionists on line. She has helped me get back on track with healthy food. Her meal plans are thorough and when I had questions or concerns she was quick to answer me, make suggestions &/or updates. In addition to varied recipes she also introduced me to a number of new food products I'm enjoying. As someone who had been a Weight Watcher for years, it was such a relief to have the menus planned and recipes at my fingertips. BY FAR the best thing has been a better approach to snacks. Now they are so much healthier- as fuel for my body & overall health. I am now having her prepare workouts for me to do at the gym. The workouts come with clear descriptions & video clips to make sure you know what your're doing. (I have been going to the gym for years, so I am confident enough to do it this way, as opposed to having her personally train me). The beauty of both meal & workout planning is that she does the thinking part, all I have to do is the "work"! I never get bored or stuck in a rut.

I can't say enough great things about Katie. I have worked with her on and off for a couple years now. She is professional, answers my plethora of questions in a very timely fashion and knows her stuff! She has motivated and inspired me since I started working with her. Currently, I am working with Katie from afar using her online work outs. She is helping me overcome foot surgery that requires a lengthy recovery time. Although I am limited on what I can do, she still knows exactly how to push me while keeping me safe while I recover. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, friendly trainer that can give you the tools to whip you into shape, look no further-Katie can help. :)
