FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are a general contractor. Each job is different and there is no magical number for different types of jobs. We can usually give a customer some type of an idea but would need to see the property and take measurements and pictures ect. Before really nailing down an estimate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically like to meet with a customer, this way we have a chance to converse and understand what they are really wanting done. After an initial meeting I will usually have what I need to write an estimate. Once an estimate is agreed upon we will sign a contract to perform the work for the agreed price. We will then begin scheduling. I often like to have all of my products lined up before we begging the project. This means if there is any flooring or specialty items needing to be ordered we want to have those in hand and ready to go before we begin. This will expedite the process. I will give you a timeline and possibly meet with a few of our sub-contractors at the house so they know exactly what needs to be done before they begin. Once all items are in and ready to go, I like to work with the customer for a start date, we will begin on that date and work diligently to complete the project in a timely manner. Once the project is complete I will walk the job with the homeowner and we will put together any type of "punch-list" of things to be touched up if there is any. We will then schedule to complete these items and be completed with the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have firefighter and EMT training, this helps me in the structural knowledge of buildings as well as the safety on the job site. I also personally have 15 years of construction experience.
