FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Product photography is generally $150/image. Additional fees may apply if props must be acquired.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I want to understand your brand and your goals. Every company, brand, and product is different. We need to work within a style guide or work together to design one. You understand your consumer better than anyone, and it's my job to produce imagery which compels them to connect with your product. For portraiture, it's not much different. YOU are the brand. You may have a message or experience you want to explore during your session, or you may want to evoke a feeling or impression in those who view the images. That's the nature of visual expression.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was an art student in Florida. I also just kinda grew up with a camera strap around my neck. My grandfather was a nature photographer and had some of his images in the National Geographic. I developed my first roll of black and white film when I was 12, and the rest? Studied metalworking and jewelry design in college, started my own brand. I needed editorial style images for my website, and I needed product photography too. At some point I was doing more photography than metalworking and decided to focus fully on photography. Along the way I've taken college courses, masterclasses, but most of all I've been... working. There's no better practice.
