They seemed extremely professional and knowledgeable during our consult and estimate. They answered all our questions. But on the day of the project they said they'd be here to start at
8:30 am but they showed up 2 1/2 hours late and seemed disorganized. They had told us it would take 2-3 days. On the day they showed up they announced it would be all done in 1day. They seemed to be rushing. They framed it up and then asked me for cash to pay the concrete mix truck guy when he showed up! So I paid them and they paid him and they started hauling concrete mix to my backyard. The mix seemed very soupy and too wet so they had a hard time smoothing it out. The owner kept trying but seemed frustrated that it was way to wet. I asked the owner about giving it time and he kept saying they had other jobs to get done before the rain comes. He smoothed it out the best he could and they sat around for about an hour and then did the brush finish on it and left. The next day they came back to see how I liked it and I expressed I was not happy with the finish and how it turned out. They came back again in a couple of weeks and I told them the same things. The owner made a rude comment that I wouldn't ever be happy with his work and he stormed off. His wife stayed and talked to me a bit but she also agreed it wasn't a quality job and she walked on it and agreed it was way too rough a finish. Needless to say we won't be using them again. 😡

I hired Munoz Concrete to do a patio replacement. They broke up the existing patio and hauled off part of it. The balance they left in the patio area apparently using it as filler (a no no for concrete work. I was told the work was guaranteed. In less than 30 days the patio started cracking. I attempted to contact Munoz but they will not respond. I will never use Thumbtack again as I believe you should be vetting the quality of their work.

We have addressed any issues with the customer in person.
I just want to say that this was not a Sod install this was concrete. The patio has it's cracks not breaks and our word of quality was left that we will fix it at no cost if it breaks throughly.
