- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price based on the type of need. Business Consulting is very different than say Accounting Training. Personal Financial coaching will also differ from business consulting. Anything that is variable I price using an hourly rate. Other projects might be using a fixed monthly fee but only when I have a firm understanding of the requirements and needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by thanking them for their time and consideration. Next, I ask a prospective client what their objectives are and what they want to accomplish. What are their dreams, needs and hopes for the future. After that, I sit and listen to them, take detailed notes and try to see if I can help them find a solution. The most important thing I can do is provide my client with options. Options give you choices and a direction then I help my clients devise a plan.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in Finance and Accounting for over 20 years. I have a MBA with my emphasis in Finance. I am trained as a Personal Financial Coach by Dave Ramsey's team in Nashville. I volunteer teach with Junior Achievement at local high schools around the valley to help coach and teach kids about Personal Finance and life. Lastly, I teach Managerial Finance at Grand Canyon University on the side. I love teaching and helping people! It is my passion and what I love to do.
