Mark and his crew are awesome! Mark throughout the process kept me informed and made my house look great. He gave me a fair quote and did a high quality job. Mark suggested repairs that needed to be done to ensure my house looked great and would keep for the long haul. Never tried to up sale me on things that did not need to be done. His quote was detailed and he did everything promised. He replaced trim, a side security door, and stained my front door concrete. He even worked with my roofers to make sure the paint was sprayed after my roof repairs. He really has an eye for making things look good and making them last. I would highly recommend using him. No surprises, good communicator, and reliable.

We had purchased a home with the intentions of doing a large remodel on a 3,000 sq ft home. We started our remodel journey trying to find a contractor that we could place our trust in to manage the remodel. Prior to finding Mark that journey was a nightmare. We had people who would make promises that later would not be kept, had workers state that they would be there but never show up and others who tried to take advantage of us by overpricing their work. Finding Mark has been the best thing to happen to us in our home remodel. We are in the midst of the 5-6 week remodel, however so far we have been more than pleased with how Mark has handled making our home our dream home. He has been very conscious of the budget and timeline, has had great communication and best of all wants to ensure we are happy and comfortable with the progress. So far all of his promises have been kept, he shows up when he says he will be there and has exceeding our expectations. There have been many things that he has gone above and beyond what has been asked of him. Since hiring Mark we have been able to enjoy the process and are excitedto see the finished product. I will provide an update on our review of the finished profuct, but so far we are beyond thrilled. More to come.....

Very please with the finished product. My house and trim look amazing. Was not sure if I would like having my sidewalk stained or acid washed and my driveway sealed. After it was finished I really glad I had it done. Painters double checked and touched up their work, clean up their trash and took it with them. After Painting returned all my yard decor and plants back to original spots. Best of all they worked around my 9 yr daughter with Autism. She had to be in the pool when they were painting the back. She climbed their ladder and they never got mad. Just laugh along with me when I called her a little monkey. When it came time to put this non slick stuff on my back patio then came out and did it in the late evening so my daughter would not walk across it. Very friendly crew.

Well I wrote the first part of my review at the beginning as Mark requested that I did. Well I now know why he wanted this to happen so bad is because at the end everything just goes downhill. You see our project had two parts to it. The first part was the main house and the 2nd part was the guest house for my parents. The main house has been completed. The work is done, but the work was not done by the promised time and the budget was blown by $20,000. There was no communication about the project being over budget until the very end. Which came by a complete surprise. There were some change orders provided for the overages in the middle of the project which also caused the us to go over budget but those were things that we signed off on and agreed to. The $20,000 were not things that we signed off on or agreed to. We were willing to overlook this issue on the main house as we thought that some of it could have been our fault for not making Mark show us a consistent spreadsheet or tracking of the budget. The other issues that we have with Mark far out way the over budget issue. Mark was very anxious to get started on the 2nd part of the project. He kept telling my parents that they needed to sign the contract to get it going to secure his business. This was before he even completed the 1st part of the project. Well really what he wanted to do was sign the contract, take the money and abandon the project. Upon request for money to put down on lumber and some demo and concrete work, my mom wrote a couple of checks out to Mark. There was some demo done and a third of the concrete laid that was supposed to be laid. Otherwise Mark took the additional $9,000 + and walked from the job. My mom has tried to reach out to him multiple times to try to get the job rolling again. She was requesting a more detailed bid, as with the overages with the main house she was going to have to make some choices on cutting back with the guest house. Mark promised over and over again that he would provide the updated bid and be back to continue with the project. Of course those were empty promises. My mom ultimately ended up having to give Mark a deadline to return her money, and/or come up with a payment plan as he was not fulfilling his promises on completing the project. At one time Mark did response stating “I will be responding”. Again an empty promise we have learning is the norm. Mark has not responded, has not returned the job he also signed a contract for, and has stolen $9,000+ from my parents. They are now having to file a legal suite against him and his company. He has also made promises to a very close friend of ours and is also failing to fulfill those promises. Do not use this company. He will not complete your project on time, will make promises he can’t keep, may steel your money and if not will go way above your budget. We were very excited about our project, our home and were even excited at the beginning that we had found a contractor that was different than the others. One that truly cared about his customers and making their home special. Unfortunately that was not the case.

Fast and First Painting did a quality job on our house. Our project entailed a full exterior paint job of the house and trim, patio concrete stain, and driveway power wash and seal. Mark and his team were professional and knowledgeable. They were attentive to detail ensuring the house was properly masked and covered during the project. We were very pleased with the work and would highly recommend their services, we have more work to be done and Mark will be our first call once ready to proceed.
