FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'll always be up-front on pricing. My most popular item is an hour-long shoot at a flat fee of $250, which includes all the best digital files from your shoot: no paying extra! The exception is when I offer mini-shoots on occasion, which are a highly discounted limited-time offer, from which you get 10 photos (but can buy more if you'd like). Like me on facebook to get notified when those happen! If you ever have any questions on pricing, feel free to shoot me a message.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took photography classes in college but most of what I know, I learned in the field. I've practically always had a camera in my hand sine I was 13 years old, I was a photographer for my college newspaper for four years, and I've been working on professional projects for six. In addition to shooting with clients I also shoot with friends, models, and myself so I can try new things and always keep learning.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
First, make sure you are comfortable communicating with your photographer. The best photos happen when you're most comfortable being yourself in front of the who's person taking the pictures. Second, make sure you like their visual style. Taking a quick peek through their website can give you a pretty good prediction of what your photos will look like. These two reasons are why I always try and encourage other photographers in my area, because no one photographer is right for every client! Diversity is what makes us strong and makes our clients happiest.
